General Description

SAC1140 is a GaAs MMIC based low noise amplifier module spanning 10 to 2000 MHz. It pairs 23 dB of gain with a 0.8 dB noise figure and a fairly strong 20 dBm output P1dB.

Supply is +5 V at 100 mA, input and output VSWR are both 1.5:1, and the housing measures 54 x 30 x 8 mm. That much compression headroom for an LNA means it copes with strong nearby signals, so it works as a broadband front end for telecom, SatCom and VSAT terminals, and test instrumentation.
