General Description

SAC1148 is a C-band power amplifier module for 5.4 to 5.8 GHz, built around SuperApex GaAs MMIC amplifier chips. Output P1dB is 36 dBm, with about 20 dB of gain (18 dB min, 25 dB max) and ±1.5 dB flatness.

Bias current is around 2000 mA from a +8 to +28 V supply, and the housing is 52.9 x 32 x 10 mm. VSWR is 1.7:1 in and 2.2:1 out, with operation rated from -40 to +70 °C. It covers the upper C-band slot used by microwave radio, telecom and military transmit chains.
