General Description

SAC3102 is an X-band GaAs MMIC power amplifier die for 8 to 12 GHz. It provides 25 dB of linear gain and 30 dBm of output power at 3 dB compression, with PAE listed at 40%.

Quiescent bias is +8 V at 250 mA, and the gate takes a negative voltage. Input return loss is 15 dB and output 10 dB. At 2.4 x 1.45 x 0.1 mm with full passivation, the die is compact enough for X-band radar transmit modules, point-to-point radios and SATCOM or test hardware that needs about a watt.
