General Description

Housed in a 4 x 4 mm QFN, SAC3402AQ4 is a 6-bit GaAs MMIC digital attenuator for DC to 6 GHz with 31.5 dB of range in 0.5 dB steps. Insertion loss is about 2.6 dB and RMS accuracy is 0.8 dB.

Six LVTTL-compatible inputs at 0/+5 V set the 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 dB bits. Port VSWR is 1.4 and the input is rated to +23 dBm. At 4 x 4 x 1.2 mm the SMT package drops straight onto boards for SATCOM, beamforming modules and test equipment.
