General Description

SAC3914Q4 is a Ku-band GaAs MMIC driver amplifier for 14 to 18 GHz in an air cavity 4 x 4 mm QFN. It offers 31 dBm output P1dB and 19 dB of gain (±2 dB) with 35% power-added efficiency.

Expect about 500 mA from a +5 to +6 V drain supply, with input VSWR around 2:1 and a +18 dBm input limit. The package is 4 x 4 x 1.2 mm. Over a watt of output in an SMT part makes it a practical final or pre-driver for Ku-band SATCOM uplinks and radar.
