General Description

SAC5001Q6 packages a 50 MHz to 2 GHz GaN MMIC power amplifier in a 6 x 6 x 1.2 mm QFN. It delivers 6 W (38 dBm) saturated output with 13 dB of small signal gain and 33% PAE.

Third order intermod is -25 dBc at 32 dBm per tone, and large signal gain is around 10 dB. Bias is +24 V and 1200 mA on the drain with a negative gate supply. With no external matching needed, it drops onto a board as a broadband transmit stage for point to point radio and SATCOM.
