General Description

SAC1104 is a waveguide Ka-band driver amplifier module covering 28 to 32 GHz, with WR-28 input and output. It delivers +28 dBm output P1dB and 25 dB of small signal gain, flat to ±1.5 dB.

Power comes from a single +6 V rail at 800 mA, and both ports are specified at 2:1 VSWR. The design is low phase noise, with an optional TB1104 gain vs. temperature compensation circuit, so it works well ahead of the final stage in a Ka-band VSAT or point to point radio transmitter.
