General Description

SAC1123 is a GaAs MMIC power amplifier module for 34 to 36 GHz, rated at 10 W with +40 dBm output P1dB and 24 dB of small signal gain.

Both RF ports are WR-28 waveguide. Bias goes in through feed-thru capacitors at +6.3 V, and the module draws around 11 A, so plan the supply and heat removal accordingly. The housing is silver plated 7050 aluminum alloy and weighs 220 g. It targets upper Ka-band transmitters for point to point links, VSAT and 5G.
