General Description

Covering 0.9 to 2 GHz, SAC1136 is a GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier module with a 0.7 dB noise figure, 15 dB of gain and +15 dBm output P1dB.

It draws just 40 mA from a +7 to +15 V supply through a pin bias with case ground. Both ports are SMA with 1.5:1 VSWR, and the aluminum alloy case is 54 x 30 x 8 mm and 85 g. The moderate gain is easy to cascade ahead of a mixer or second stage without overdriving it, in radar, ECM, radio and ham setups.
