General Description

SAC1150 is a GaAs MMIC power amplifier module for X-band, 9 to 11 GHz, rated at 45 dBm output at 3 dB compression with 22.5 dB of small signal gain and about 33% PAE.

It runs from +15 V and draws roughly 8500 mA, so an external heatsink with forced air cooling is required. RF ports are SMA female and WR-90 waveguide, return loss is 14 dB on both sides, and the aluminum alloy housing weighs 445 g. Built for X-band transmitters in microwave radio, telecom and test systems.
