General Description

SAC1156 is a wideband low noise amplifier module for 2 to 8.5 GHz, built with GaAs MMIC chips. It has a 1 dB noise figure, 27 dB of gain flat to ±1.5 dB, 10 dBm output P1dB and 20 dBm OIP3.

Current draw is only 40 mA at +5 V, and the hermetic laser sealed module is small at 17.8 x 20 x 8.35 mm. VSWR is 1.6:1 at both ports. That makes it easy to drop into S, C and lower X band receive paths for microwave radio, telecom and test gear.
