General Description

SAC1238 is a C-band low noise amplifier module for 4.4 to 5 GHz with 46 dB of gain, a 0.7 dB typical noise figure and 18 dBm output P1dB.

A wide +8 to +20 V input range and a 180 mA draw make it easy to power from whatever rail is on hand, and VSWR is 1.8:1 on both ports. With that much gain up front, it largely sets the system noise figure in radar, ECM, radio and test receivers.
