General Description

Covering 0.4 to 6 GHz, SAC1248 is a sloped gain amplifier module whose gain climbs from 30 dB at 0.4 GHz to 40 dB at 6 GHz. Output P1dB is 20 dBm and the noise figure is 4 dB.

That tilt is there to pre-compensate the roll-off of long coax runs and other lossy parts toward the top of the band. Supply is +15 V at 250 mA, and port VSWR is 2.5:1. The page lists radar, ECM, RF and microwave radio, military and space, test and fiber optic applications.
