General Description

SAC1288 is a hermetically sealed low noise amplifier module for 1 to 6 GHz. Gain is 35 dB, flat to ±1 dB, with a 1.5 dB typical noise figure and 24 dBm output P1dB.

Power comes from a single +8 V rail at 200 mA, and input and output VSWR are both 2:1. The 24 dBm P1dB gives a front end real headroom against strong signals, so it works well as the first stage in radar, ECM, microwave radio and test receivers.
