General Description

SAC3038 is a broadband GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier die for 1 to 7 GHz that takes +5 V to +8 V on the drain. At +5 V and 65 mA it delivers 11 dB of gain, 15.8 dBm output P1dB and a 3.1 dB noise figure.

Moving to +8 V (67 mA) lifts P1dB to 17.5 dBm, with gain at 10.5 dB. Flatness is ±0.6 dB and VSWR 1.5:1. The 1.5 x 1.25 x 0.1 mm die suits test, radar and ECM hardware that wants 1 to 7 GHz in one gain stage.
