General Description

SAC3047 is a GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier die spanning 0.2 to 2.2 GHz, with 27 dB of gain and a 1 dB noise figure. Output P1dB is 13 dBm and OIP3 is 23 dBm.

On +5 V it pulls 62 mA. The drain is only rated to +5.5 V, so the supply should be well regulated. The die measures 1.32 x 1.21 x 0.1 mm and is fully passivated. That much gain in one stage covers VHF through low S-band receivers in SatCom, VSAT and telecom gear.
