General Description

SAC3059 is a UHF GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier die for 0.4 to 0.6 GHz. Across that band it gives 35.5 dB of gain within ±0.5 dB and a 0.5 dB noise figure, with 15 dBm output P1dB.

Supply is +5 V at 80 mA, with input VSWR of 1.4:1 and output VSWR of 1.3:1. The die is 1.3 x 1.21 x 0.1 mm and is rated for -40 to +85 °C operation. Getting that much gain from one chip means fewer stages in UHF receivers and EW front ends.
