General Description

SAC3127AQ6 puts a Ka-band GaAs MMIC power amplifier into a RoHS compliant QFN6x6 surface mount package, covering 27.5 to 31 GHz. It offers 27 dB of gain, 36 dBm output P1dB and 25% PAE at P1dB.

Linearity is -25 dBc IM3 at 25 dBm per tone, falling to -20 dBc at 29 dBm per tone. Supply is +6 V with roughly 3 A of drain current, and gain stays within ±1 dB. Being surface mount, it lands on SatCom, VSAT and microwave radio boards with no die handling.
