General Description

SAC3405 is a Ku-band 6-bit digital attenuator die in GaAs MMIC, covering 12 to 18 GHz with 31.5 dB of range in 0.5 dB increments. Insertion loss is 3.8 dB and RMS attenuation accuracy is 1.5 dB.

Input VSWR is 1.45 and output is 1.5. TTL 0/+5 V lines select the 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 dB bits, and the input can take up to +23 dBm. The passivated die is 1.79 x 1.25 x 0.1 mm, sized for Ku-band SATCOM and beamforming modules that need per-channel amplitude control.
