General Description

SAC3501 is a GaAs MMIC up-converter die that mixes a 10 to 600 MHz IF up to 2.0 to 3.5 GHz. It has 8 dB of conversion gain and +8 dBm output P1dB, and needs only 0 dBm of LO drive.

LO to RF isolation is 40 dB and LO to IF isolation is 60 dB. It draws 85 mA from +5 V and needs no external matching. With such a low LO level, a synthesizer can usually drive it without a buffer amp in S-band radar, EW and SATCOM transmitters.
