General Description

SAC3914 is a GaAs MMIC driver amplifier die for 14 to 18 GHz. It delivers 31 dBm output P1dB with 19 dB of gain and 40% power added efficiency.

That efficiency at P1dB makes it a good driver or final stage where heat matters. It runs from +5 to +6 V at about 500 mA, and the die is 2.14 x 1.25 x 0.1 mm with full passivation. Used in point-to-point radios, SATCOM, radar and test equipment.
