General Description

From 10 MHz all the way to 60 GHz, SAC3946 is a broadband GaAs MMIC driver amplifier die with 12 dB small signal gain (±1.5 dB) and 15 dBm output P1dB. Noise figure is 7 dB.

It runs on +6 V drain at 130 mA with a negative gate bias, and VSWR is 1.6:1 at both ports. The die is fully passivated and measures 3.54 x 1 x 0.1 mm. Coverage into V band from near DC makes it a natural gain stage for wideband test instrumentation.
