General Description

SAC1003A is a GaAs MMIC envelope detector supplied as a bare die for 0.5 to 27 GHz. It has 40 dB of dynamic range, ±1 dB flatness and 2:1 input VSWR.

With 100 ns rise and 300 ns fall times and a 2.5 mA bias current, it drops easily into a leveling loop. The die is 1.25 x 1.25 x 0.1 mm and tolerates up to +20 dBm of input power. That wide dynamic range helps when tracking transmit power in point to point radio, VSAT and SatCom terminals.
