General Description

SAC3031 is a GaAs MMIC LNA die for 2 to 4 GHz with a 1 dB noise figure and 28 dB of gain. Gain flatness is ±0.4 dB, output P1dB is 13 dBm and OIP3 is 24 dBm.

Bias is +5 V at 45 mA. Port VSWR is about 1.8:1, and the die measures 1.2 x 1.24 x 0.1 mm. With 28 dB in a single chip, it can carry most of the front end gain in an S-band radar or radio receiver, so later stages add little to the system noise figure.
