General Description

SAC3045Q5 is a wideband GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier covering 2 to 20 GHz in a 5 x 5 mm QFN. It provides 15.5 dB of gain with ±1 dB flatness, a 3 dB noise figure and 14 dBm output P1dB.

Bias is +5 V at 60 mA, input VSWR is 1.25:1 and output 1.4:1. The exposed paddle on the 1.1 mm tall package must be tied to RF and DC ground. Since one part spans a full decade, test instrumentation and military receivers can use it in place of several band-limited LNAs.
