General Description

SAC3056 is an S-band GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier die for 2 to 4 GHz with a 0.5 dB noise figure and 29 dB of gain, flat to ±0.5 dB.

Output P1dB is a modest 9 dBm (OIP3 20 dBm), which is fine for a first stage, and it only draws 30 mA from +5 V. VSWR is 1.4:1 and the passivated die measures 1.08 x 1.21 x 0.1 mm. It fits S-band microwave radio, telecom and test receivers where sensitivity matters more than power handling.
