General Description

SAC3233Q4 brings a reflective GaAs PIN SP3T switch into a 4 x 4 mm QFN for 24 to 35 GHz. It offers 1.5 dB insertion loss and 30 dB isolation at 33 GHz.

Bias is light, roughly 10 mA per arm at 1 V forward, and input power up to +33 dBm is allowed when the reverse bias is -15 V. Switching runs near 25 ns. Since the RF ports already carry DC blocks and bias networks, the package can go straight onto a millimeter-wave PCB with little support circuitry.
