General Description

SAC3512 is a millimeter-wave GaAs MMIC double balanced mixer die for 24 to 40 GHz, with a very wide DC to 10 GHz IF. Conversion loss is 8.5 dB, input P1dB is 15 dBm, and the LO wants +13 dBm.

Isolation measures 40 dB LO to RF and 30 dB LO to IF. The die is tiny at 0.61 x 0.92 x 0.1 mm, which keeps bond wires short at Ka-band, and no external matching is needed. Typical homes are Ka-band point-to-point radio, SATCOM and VSAT terminals, and test instrumentation.
