General Description

SAC3518Q4 puts a Ka-band GaAs sub-harmonic mixer in a 4 x 4 x 1.3 mm QFN. It converts a DC to 7 GHz IF up to 18 to 36 GHz RF using a 9 to 16 GHz LO, with 13.5 dB conversion loss.

An on-chip LO buffer on one 5 V rail lets it run on 0 dBm of LO. Isolation is 30 dB LO to RF and 15 dB LO to IF. ESD is Class 0 (passed 150 V HBM), so handle with care; it targets SatCom and point-to-point radio boards.
