General Description

SAC3948 is an L-band GaAs MMIC driver amplifier die for 1.1 to 1.6 GHz. It has 18 dB of gain, flat to ±1 dB, and delivers 28 dBm typical output power at 3 dB compression.

Power comes from a single +5 V rail at 350 mA. Input and output are matched to 1.5:1 VSWR, and the die is 2 x 2.5 x 0.1 mm. The narrow band and solid output level make it a fit for cellular infrastructure transmit chains.
