General Description

SAC4008 is a GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier die reaching from 28 to 55 GHz. It provides 17 dB of gain with ±1 dB flatness, a 3.5 dB noise figure and 15 dBm output P1dB at 40 GHz.

The die is 1.3 x 1.9 x 0.1 mm and draws 114 mA from +5 V. Input VSWR is 2.0:1 and output VSWR is 1.5:1. That 15 dBm P1dB leaves headroom for strong signals in millimeter wave point to point radio, SATCOM and test instrumentation front ends.
