General Description

SAC4020 is a K and Ka-band GaAs MMIC LNA die covering 18 to 40 GHz. Gain is 20 dB with ±1 dB flatness, noise figure is 2.0 dB, and output P1dB is 12 dBm at 28 GHz.

The die needs +5 V at 85 mA and measures 1.0 x 1.4 x 0.1 mm. VSWR is 1.8:1 in and 1.6:1 out, and the input is rated to +15 dBm max. On the page’s own list of uses: point to point microwave radio, telecom, SATCOM and test instrumentation.
