General Description

SAC4021 is a GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier die for 18 to 40 GHz. It provides 20 dB of gain, flat to ±1 dB, with a 2.0 dB noise figure and 13 dBm output P1dB at 28 GHz.

Power is +5 V at 87 mA. Input VSWR is 1.8:1, output is 1.6:1, and the die is 1.0 x 1.4 x 0.1 mm with full passivation. The extra output headroom helps when a strong nearby signal shares the band, as in point to point radio, SATCOM terminals and test instrumentation.
