General Description

SAC5003CR7 is a GaN MMIC power amplifier for the full 8 to 12 GHz X-band, housed in a CR7 metal-ceramic package. It produces 45.5 dBm output with 29 dB of small signal gain and 30% PAE.

Supply is +28 V drain plus a negative gate voltage, at about 6 A. No external matching is required anywhere in the band. Typical homes are weather radar and point-to-point radio transmitters.
